Trump-aligned FCC plans to challenge ABC's licenses with early review
Sources tell CNN that the FCC—led by Trump-appointee Brendan Carr—is planning to initiate an early review of Disney's licenses to use public airwaves, years before they come up for renewal. The FCC is likely to point to an investigation of Disney's DEI practices for the review, but the announcement comes just one day after President Trump & First Lady Melania Trump called on Disney to fire late night comedian Jimmy Kimmel. CNN's Elex Michaelson joins the Inside Politics panel to share his insight into the move, and the future of late night.
