Trump weighs in on Polymarket Insider trading arrest: 'The whole world unfortunately has become somewhat of a casino.'
The Justice Department alleges a special forces soldier who participated in the raid to capture Nicolas Maduro made a series of bets on the prediction market Polymarket that earned him more than $400,000. Trump signaled some sympathy for the soldier when he compared him to former baseball player Pete Rose, who received a lifetime ban from the MLB for betting on his own games. "Now if he bet against his team, that would be no good, but he bet on his own team," Trump said.
