Survivor of Hong Kong fire returns to charred home

Five months after a devastating fire tore through seven residential towers in Hong Kong’s Tai Po district, residents have been allowed to return to their homes for the first time to collect the personal belongings that remain. The inferno devastated the community, killing 168 people and leaving thousands homeless. For the survivors, the opportunity to briefly return is fraught with complicated feelings of pain and loss.
