Pope Leo pushes Trump to find an off-ramp for the war in Iran
The first American Pope has not shied away from making comments that could be perceived as political, but this week Pope Leo weighed in on the American president by name for the first time. The pontiff spoke to CNN's Vatican Correspondent Christopher Lamb & urged President Trump to search for an off-ramp in the war in Iran. He said an end to the war would be "a significant contribution to removing the hatred that is being created and increasing constantly, in the Middle East and elsewhere."
