Lawmakers have reached a bipartisan funding deal to avoid a costly government shutdown, according to Democratic Leader Chuck Schumer’s office. The deal separates DHS funding from a larger spending package and temporarily funds the department while the parties debate broader reforms to ICE, sources told CNN.
