In an interview with CNN's Jake Tapper, Washington Democrat Rep. Marie Gluesenkamp Perez accused a member of her own party of "election subversion." In a surprise move that shocked Democrats, Gluesenkamp Perez launched the process of sanctioning her colleague Rep. Chuy García of Illinois for the timing of his decision to retire — which guaranteed his hand-picked successor was the only person registered to run for his seat.
