Taking to the skies for its first commercial flight in 1952, the de Havilland Comet 1A was a revolution in passenger aviation. With pioneering military jet technology, it flew faster, higher and was more comfortable than the propeller planes that’d come before. Now, thanks to a team of volunteers at the de Havilland Aircraft Museum in the UK, you can see what it was like aboard this game-changing aircraft.
