See how architects in Iceland want to build with molten lava

Iceland has entered a new period of volcanic activity with recent eruptions destroying homes and forcing thousands to flee. Now, one mother and son architect team want to harness lava to create a building material of the future. The project, 'Lavaforming,’ imagines Iceland in the year 2150 where lava flows are harnessed to create whole cities and 3D-printing robots scour the volcanic terrain for resources.
