High schoolers demand to be heard as France sees its biggest student protests in decades
What started as a demonstration in support of a teacher strike at a suburban high school almost two weeks ago has now snowballed into a series of violence as police attempt to contain what has become a national crisis. More than 6,000 people have been taken into police custody, a majority of them minors. Teachers and delegates from trade unions are now joining students on the streets to call attention to school conditions. CNN's Melissa Bell reports from Paris.
