A United Nations-backed initiative confirmed reports of famine that Palestinians in Gaza have long been warning about, CNN International Correspondent Paula Hancocks reports, as a looming Israeli offensive threatens further displacement and bombardment for these already hunger stricken individuals in the enclave.
