In conversation with Bournemouth and Mexico star Julian Araujo
Arguably more so than any of his Bournemouth teammates, Julián Araujo is well used to life in America, with the 23-year-old defender born in California in 2001, though he now represents Mexico by virtue of being able to play for either country. The breakout LA Galaxy star got a dream move to Barcelona in 2023 but his dreams never came to fruition, and he moved to the Cherries the following year. Now in the midst of the Premier League Summer Series, with Bournemouth facing Manchester United in Chicago on Wednesday off the back of a comprehensive 3-0 win over Everton last weekend in New Jersey, Araujo has been discussing the importance of pre-season, and his hopes with both club and country with CNN Espanol's Elizabeth Perez.
