Talks to find peace between Ukraine and Russia are well underway, with the US playing a crucial role in mediating. President Trump has made it clear he wants the war to end, and has made significant efforts to strongarm Kyiv into negotiations. It comes as Russia is advancing in Ukrainian-held territory in its western Kursk region. The control of occupied territory is certain to be key to any deal, but what do both sides want?
