Canadian police vehicles were present at the scene of a shooting near a synagogue in the city of Belleville in Ontario, Canada. A police officer and a man were injured during the exchange of fire which took place as members of the local Jewish community had gathered to celebrate Yom Kippur, the holiest day of the Jewish calendar.
