Mayor narrowly escapes RPG attack

Akmad Ampatuan, mayor of the town of Shariff Aguak in the province of Maguindanao del Sur, narrowly escaped after assailants attacked his armored vehicle with a rocket-propelled and high-powered firearms on Sunday morning, according to local authorities.
