Inside Theo James’ surprising second act: Restaurateur

As celebrity restaurants multiply—from Robert de Niro's sushi empire to Lady Gaga's NY Italian eatery - actor Theo James is putting his own spin on the trend — and pushing back against the hype while he's at it. Swapping the red carpet, James, alongside partners Ed Templeton & Naz Hassan, has opened Lupa, a Roman comfort food spot in North London. But unlike many star-backed ventures, Lupa isn’t about flash or fame but the love for simple, soulful food. James shares why he’s drawn to the rituals of the kitchen, and why the typical "celebrity restaurant" makes him cringe.

Switzerland's glaciers, which are disproportionately impacted by climate change, have shed a quarter of their mass in the past decade alone, a study warned amid concerns the melt is accelerating. In 2025, glacial melting in Switzerland was once again "enormous", the Glacier Monitoring in Switzerland (GLAMOS) network said, adding it was close to the record set in 2022.
