Trump threatens ‘annihilation’, Hormuz talks and more

Trump threatens ‘annihilation’, Hormuz talks and more

This week, developments on the Iran war included threats from Trump to drive Iran “into hell with no chance of survival” while Benjamin Netanyahu said that the fall of the Iranian regime was “only a matter of time.” Also, US and Iranian negotiators were resuming talks to open the Strait of Hormuz and the Navy reported that there were eight suicide attempts on the USS Abraham Lincoln during its deployment.

Military and regional experts talked to CNN about these and other events in the Iran war.
