Gen. David Petraeus, who served as Commander of United States Central Command and the CIA director, told CNN's Dana Bash the military operation could allow Iran to "emerge from this militarily weakened but perhaps actually strategically strengthened, and that revolves around what the ultimate resolution is of control of the Strait of Hormuz."
