‘Every player wants to win it’: Kylian Mbappé eyes first Ballon d’Or award
  •
Football superstar Kylian Mbappe has told CNN “it can be a good year” for him in the Ballon d'Or and even though it’s the one trophy every player wants to win he’s not frustrated he’s yet not had the honour of doing so. Despite a trophyless season, the forward shone with France at this summer’s World Cup where he became the all-time top goalscorer in the men's competition - This having netted 25 goals for Real Madrid in their domestic campaign. And it’s not just on the pitch where the striker has been making waves. Last week the 27-year-old ended his 20-year journey with Nike to join the Swiss sportswear brand, On. He and On’s Founder and Co-Ceo David Allemann have been telling CNN’s Amanda Davies how the groundbreaking deal came about.
