At least one person died and several others were injured after a tornado ripped through Barnsdall, Oklahoma, on Monday night, Osage County Sheriff Eddie Virden told CNN affiliate KOKI.
Residents in the area were already recovering from another tornado that hit Barnsdall just over a month ago.
Tornadoes were spotted in the state as dangerous storms pummeled the central United States with rain, wind and hail Monday and through the night.
In hard-hit parts of northeastern Oklahoma, storms damaged dozens of homes, downed power lines and dumped piles of debris and household items across yards and roads.
