Former US President Donald Trump won the New Hampshire primary on Tuesday, moving closer to his third straight presidential nomination and a rematch with President Joe Biden in the fall.

Trump defeated former South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley, his last remaining Republican challenger, in a one-on-one matchup. It comes on the heels of Trump's big win in the Iowa caucuses.

Haley vowed to remain in the race, saying she'll now focus on the February 24 primary in her home state of South Carolina.

But she'll be battling history: In modern presidential campaign history, no non-incumbent has won the Iowa caucuses and New Hampshire primary without going on to win his party's nomination.

Here are some of the stories that made headlines over the past week, as well as some photos that caught our eye.
