The New England Patriots won their sixth Lombardi Trophy on Sunday, defeating the Los Angeles Rams 13-3 in a Super Bowl dominated by defense.

The Patriots are now tied with the Pittsburgh Steelers for the most Super Bowls won by an NFL franchise.

Quarterback Tom Brady and head coach Bill Belichick have been the constants for all six titles. Their first came in 2001, also against the Rams. No quarterback and head coach have won more Super Bowls.

Patriots wide receiver Julian Edelman was named the Most Valuable Player of this year's game, catching 10 passes for 141 yards. But much of the credit has to go to the Patriots' dominant defense, which limited the high-powered Rams offense to 260 yards. This was the lowest-scoring Super Bowl of all time.
