7. Krakow, Poland —
A "World's Best" debut, Poland's second city has been experiencing a quiet cultural revolution, and it's finally getting the attention it deserves. Highlights include the marvels of the Old City, like Rynek Glówny and the Royal Castle of Wawel.

6. Bangkok, Thailand —
Bangkok is a city where sweet and spicy street food perfumes the avenues and Buddhist temples stand in dramatic juxtaposition to slick skyscrapers. After a year of unrest, it has been restored to the World's Best list, where it clung to the No. 1 spot from 2010 to 2013.

5. Rome, Italy —
T+L's readers continue to show their appreciation for Rome, earning it the fifth spot on the magazine's 2015 world's best cities list. It's impossible to tire of Rome's storied landmarks, such as The Pantheon and The Colosseum, both relics of the Roman Empire.

4. Florence, Italy —
Another favorite, Florence is known for being a Renaissance repository with such highlights as Michelangelo's David and red-roofed buildings reflected in the river Arno.

3. Siem Reap, Cambodia —

Charleston is the only U.S. city represented in T+L's overall list, and repeatedly appears on its America's Favorite Cities lists. It's been applauded for its beautiful, jasmine-fringed neighborhoods and historic battlegrounds.
