Game changer: A computer-generated image of the Escalade yacht concept, which features a Trimonoran hull, a combination of a monohull and a trimaran hull.

Unique vessel: Designer Baran Akalın partnered with G. Jelle Bilkert from Dutch firm Anwigema, who's been working on the Trimonoran for over 20 years, to integrate the multi-hull concept into a luxury yacht design.

Top speeds: Escalade, which is fueled by a hydraulic propulsion system, is likely to have an estimated top speed of about 42 knots.

Decadent décor: The vessel's elegant interior, which includes four plush suites, is the work of British designer Celia Sawyer.

'Superstar area': The yacht also has a huge saloon with a large cinema screen and a lavish lounge area.

Comfortable sailing: Escalade can accommodate up to eight guests as well two crew members.

Yachting future? Although it hasn't been picked up by a shipyard just yet, Akalın says the concept has been getting a lot of interest from potential buyers.

Cutting edge: "She is the design that meets the needs of the modern world," says Akalın, who states the project would take between six to 10 months to complete if/when it's picked up.
