Slide the City's team gets emails from around the world every day, inviting them to different cities. "There are several factors we consider, including weather, population and whether or not there is a suitable street or location," says Gessel.

After picking the location, Slide the City supports local organizers by advising on location, crowd control, slider technology and the water system. It visited West Palm Beach earlier this year.
