Rediscovered trains: Back in 2015, French railway fan Arthur Mettetal tracked some several vintage Orient Express train carriages. They've since been given a new lease of life by hospitality group Accor.

Meticulous restoration: Accor enlisted French architect Maxime d'Angeac to meticulously restore the carriages.

Striking interiors: Accor's released a first look at the interiors, which are sumptuous and striking.

Art Deco spirit: D'Angeac told CNN Travel says the suite designs captures "the spirit of the 20s."

Night to day: During the day, suites can be transformed into living spaces with coaches, rather than beds.

Exciting challenge: D'Angeac said it was an exciting challenge to make small spaces on the vintage carriages feel luxurious.

Luxury details: The designs are all about the luxury details.

Theatrical design: The corridors, pictured here, are described by Accor as "theatrical" with their vaulted ceilings and rich carpets.

Homage to the original: The original Orient Express train immortalized by crime author Agatha Christie no longer exists, but Accor's concept is one of a few reimagined homages to the concept.

Future plans: Accor is getting the trains ready for operation on a Paris to Istanbul route that's set to operate from 2025.
