Blythe Fitzwiliam of Guinness World Records attended Jia Jia's birthday to award her the "Oldest Panda Ever in Captivity" and the "Oldest Panda Living in Captivity" world records. The previous titleholder was a female panda named Du Du, who spent most of her life in the Wuhan Zoo in China. She passed away in 1999 at age 37.
