Holiday planning for the super rich: Ultra rich travelers can afford to go anywhere and do anything, but often rely on teams of highly skilled, adaptive and creative travel experts to make it happen. "We've got a fantastic network of fixers around the world, who know us and the types of experiences we like to provide," Tom Marchant, co-founder of luxury adventure specialist Black Tomato, tells CNN Travel.

Not your average home movie: For one trip, Black Tomato sent a Hollywood cinematographer, who had filmed blockbusters like "Star Wars" and "Interstellar," to shoot a family on their six-week sailing odyssey through the Indonesian islands. The group spent roughly US$665,000 on their trip.

Creative touches: The Black Tomato team once hid a diamond ring inside an ice cave for a client's bride-to-be to discover.

Dinner of a lifetime: Element Lifestyle founder Michael Albanese spent nine months arranging a private eight-course dinner hosted by celebrity chef Eric Ripert. The dinner featured a port found on a shipwreck "that was older than Abraham Lincoln."

Personalized bucket lists: Black Tomato creates personal moments for their clients. They organized a trip for a Canadian philanthropist who had his own set of "7 World Wonders" on his bucket list that included a dive between the tectonic plates in Iceland.

Exclusive pop-up accommodations: Black Tomato set up a service called Blink, which allows clients to help design their own pop-up accommodations. For instance, these dome tents were set up on Bolivia's Uyuni Salt Flats.

Private concerts: Element Lifestyle has thrown private concerts for clients (like this one with LMFAO) and once called upon a well-known artist to write and perform a unique travel theme song.

Luxurious isolation: Red Savannah's founder and CEO George Morgan-Grenville -- who has organized trips for well-known individuals including Britain's Prince Charles, says clients are now looking for "glorious isolation" holidays, including private islands and exclusive camps.

A $1.4 million trip: Black Tomato built temporary luxury accommodations in the middle of the Sacred Valley in Peru for one trip. On the private train ride to the site, Black Tomato surprised the clients with a fireworks display. The trip cost just under US$1.4 million in total.

Luxury and seclusion: Yacht charter company Y.CO says yacht adventures are in high demand during the Covid-19 pandemic. The company says it's seen a 50% uptick in enquiries since pandemic-related lockdowns began earlier this year.

Luxury holidays during Covid: "We're seeing a lot more demand from clients who want to explore more secluded areas, spending more time onboard and less time in busy ports," Gary Wright, Y.CO co-founder and chairman, tells CNN Travel.
