'Survivor' travel and more —
"Survivor" host Jeff Probst has one of the best travel jobs around: Since 2000, he's traveled to remote locations around the world to shoot the reality show. When he's not working, he and his crew play hard. Between shooting seasons 10 and 16 in the island nation of Palau, Probst spent lots of time scuba diving.

Kenya —
Spotting elephants, zebras and lions was a daily occurrence in Kenya on "Survivor" season three. Once Probst saw lions killing and eating a zebra at pretty close range.

Cook Islands —
Living with local families while shooting season 13 on the Cook Islands, Probst picked up a little bit of the locals' relaxed attitude.

Kona, Hawaii —
When they visit Kona, Hawaii, Probst and wife Lisa Russell say it feels like their second home.

The Amazon, Brazil —
The Amazon is the spookiest place Probst has visited, and he's not sure he'd want to go back. But he's glad he visited to shoot season six. "I like being out of my comfort zone," he says.

Australian Outback —
The relaxed "no worries" attitude he picked up in the Australian Outback during season two changed the way Probst lives his life.

Vail, Colorado —
Growing up, Probst's annual family vacation to Vail, Colorado, taught him that although family trips are a lot of work, they're "never not worth it." A picture from one of the Vail trips has a place of honor in Probst's office today. (Jeff is standing between his parents.)

Samoa —
Probst's parents renewed their vows on their 50th anniversary in Samoa in 2009. That's Jeff, parents Barbara and Jerry, and brother Scott (left to right) in Samoa with a copy of his parents' original wedding picture. Season 19 was shot there.

Venice, California —
When he's at home in California, Probst heads to the famous rings in Venice to "chalk up and swing away."

Around the world —
Despite shooting 28 seasons overseas, including a memorable season in the Amazon (shown here), Probst still isn't tired of traveling. On the top of his bucket list: A trip around the world with his wife and children.
