Patrons at Imad's Syrian Kitchen are served large sharing platters under candlelight, and seated closely at family-style kitchen tables.

For starters, Alarnab offered customers tabbouleh (a parsley, tomato and bulgur wheat salad) and fattoush (a toasted pita salad with pomegranate molasses, tomato and cucumber).

Dips included hummus (a chickpea dip) and moutabal (smokey aubergines with yoghurt and tahini)

Alarnab also cooked hand-made falafel (a ground chickpea patty, served with tahini and pickles) and served kebab hindi (a Syrian meatball stew) as part of the main.

Also part of the starters, Alarnab served dolmades (vine leaves stuffed with rice).

Baklava —
For dessert, Alarnab served an assortment of baklava with cardamom tea.
