Hindu temple for the Gurkhas —
A Hindu temple for Gurka soldiers. There was a strong presence of Nepalese soldiers in Hong Kong during the British colonial era. According to the group, this temple has been declared a heritage site by the Hong Kong government.

The temple features a colorful hexagonal structure with five entrances, resembling a lotus flower.

MTR construction site —
HK Urbex created an Internet buzz with an excursion onto a construction site of the Hong Kong metro railway. MTR Corporation, the company responsible for the site, threatened legal action for trespassing.

'White House' —
The Victoria Road Detention Centre, or the "White House," was said to have originally been a recreational club for the British army, then it became a detention center for political prisoners. Subsequently it was a shelter for Chinese dissidents who fled to Hong Kong after the Tiananmen Massacre in 1989.

Former slaughterhouse —
Established in 1969, this slaughterhouse in Cheung Sha Wan was one of Hong Kong's three main abattoirs, processing cows, pigs and lambs. It closed down in 1999.

Abandoned mine —
The group has also explored an abandoned iron ore mine. The facility is believed to have been in operation from 1953 to 1976.

They found a pool of crystal clear water in the lower levels of the mine.

Asylum —
The dorm of an asylum decommissioned in 2012. This mental hospital built in 1972 specialized in psychiatric and physiotherapy treatment. It once housed 270 patients.

Dilapidated mansion —
Located in Wan Chai, this mansion once belonged to a Hong Kong transportation tycoon. It features a distinctive Italianate Renaissance architectural style, earning it heritage status from the Hong Kong government.

Deserted military barracks —
Situated at the northern territory of Hong Kong that borders mainland China, this deserted military base was once used by the British army for drills and border control.

Eerie basketball court —
Many of Hong Kong's beautiful old buildings have been demolished or neglected. The group hopes to raise awareness and indirectly help preservation.
