Chang's fascination with transportation took off at a very young age. His father worked for an airline, allowing him to experience the aviation industry firsthand. "I got to fly a lot and be around a lot of airplanes," he told CNN. "My first sketchbook was a sketchbook full of airplanes."

This sleek, supersonic private jet of the future is part of a series of images by Chang that depict aircraft that surpass the speed of sound. Chang is interested in all kinds of high-speed transportation, such as Elon Musk's proposed Hyperloop -- where passengers would travel at superfast speeds through giant, vacuum-like tubes. "I kind of want to do an art piece on the Hyperloop, and what that might look like in the future, with terminals to take us places much quicker than airplanes."
