In-flight entertainment (IFEC): In this competitive category, United Airlines, in cooperation with Panasonic Avionics, won with its "Entertainment for All" system.

Material and Components: Collins Aerospace picked up an award for its swanky uLED Reading Light.

Passenger Comfort Hardware: "Sleeping comfort above the clouds" is the vision of RECARO Aircraft Seating, whose comfy Economy Swat was picked up one of the prizes.

University: Sahngseok Lee from South Korea's Hongik University won for his "1 For All" concept, a Tetris-like cabin configuration designed in collaboration with seating manufacturer Adien.

Visionary Concepts: Peacock Suites, the brainchild of Paperclip Design Limited, was awarded for its luxury and flexibility.
