Celera 500L: This extraordinary aircraft is designed to carry six passengers, reach a speed of 460 miles-per-hour and have a range of 4,500 miles.

Greener flight: Otto Aviation says the Celera 500L reduces carbon emissions by over 80% relative to comparable business aircraft and over 40% relative to the most efficient commercial aircraft, on a per-passenger basis.

Bullet plane: Otto Aviation believes the Celera 500L will facilitate the introduction of an "air taxi model" for very short-haul flights.

Power shift: The aircraft will launch with a diesel engine, but Otto Aviation is looking into electric and hydrogen-based options.

Old vs. new: The Otto Celera 500L next to a Piper PA-31, a popular turboprop aircraft used by smaller airlines and in private aviation.

Design process: The nacelles near the back of the plane will be eliminated when a new version of the engine will be mounted for future flight test, further streamlining the fuselage.
