LATAM —
Some airlines are working to make in-flight meals more enjoyable for both children and adults. Last year South American airline, LATAM, served more than 30,000 kids' meals that were "free of excess fat and high calories," says LATAM's executive chef Hugo Pantano.

Air France —
Kids flying Air France can play with their food thanks to Catalan designer Eugeni Quitllet, who created a spoon, fork and knife that can be transformed into a small model aircraft.

KLM —
Unlike some airlines, which are starting to offer more healthy food, KLM says parents just want their kids to eat something they like while inflight. Young fliers thus get options such as hamburgers with fries and a typically Dutch breakfast of "poffertjes."

KLM —
KLM also found that kids love to copy adults, so they created a range of eye masks and baggage labels in kids' inflight kits.

Singapore Airlines —
Does your kid hate caviar? Singapore Airlines' offers a meal pre-order program for parents of first- and business-class fliers. Menu items include mac and cheese, pancakes and sausages and healthy options like poached eggs, grilled fish or roasted chicken.

Lufthansa —
Chicken or fish? Bleh. Lufthansa's inflight menu may include Butterfly Dream (gnocchetti pasta salad with shrimp), Potato Sunset (wedges with tomato sauce) or Flying Dumplings (white bread and cheese dumplings on mushroom ragout).

EVA —
EVA's Hello Kitty jets feature more than 100 branded inflight items, including headrest covers, blankets, pillows, and, of course, Hello Kitty-themed meals.

EVA —
Kids' cuisine on EVA's Hello Kitty jets is served in Chef Hello Kitty boxes with bowtie-shaped bowls.

Air France —
On flights more than 150 minutes, Air France offers organic baby food in jars, whilst kids' meals on flights from Paris include three organic items -- usually orange juice, compote and a chocolate bar.

Easyjet —
EasyJet recently re-designed its kids' inflight snack box. By removing chips and chocolate bars, the airline achieved a 4% reduction in fat, 40% reduction in saturated fat and an increase of 20% in fiber.
