
Shot over the course of 11 years, Steven Ahlgren's photos offer a glimpse of corporate life in the 1990s and early 2000s. Scroll through to see more images from his new book "The Office."

"It's as close to a self-portrait that I've ever made," Ahlgren said of this photograph. "I think I looked exactly like that when I was working at the bank."

Ahlgren created the series by securing invites to legal and accounting firms, government offices and commercial banks.
