Suspended 30 feet above the ground, "Living the Till" is a resort concept that can be installed temporarily, even in remote locations. This treetop hotel was submitted by EoA of Coral Gables, Florida, and has minimal impact on the environment thanks to its hovering design. The platforms are made with mesh.

2017 Professional Finalist: Vertical Micro-Climate —
Vancouver's Arno Matis Architecture created a mountaintop resort that uses thermal and solar technology to keep the environment warm and filled with light -- all year round. The resort concept uses reflective guardrail systems and curved towers to reflect natural light downwards through the structure.

The competition's student winner is Brandan Siebrecht, who devised "Hyperloop Hotel." The design features customizable shipping containers that can travel between 13 hotel locations across America.
