"I had wanted to travel to Japan for quite some time and when I finally made my trip over, Nara Dreamland was the first stop on my list," he says.

Veillon says images of the park stand out from his other photography because of the contrast between the park's bright colors and the the stillness it has adopted after years of being left untouched.

"It makes you almost feel nostalgic. It makes you want to hear the sound of children screaming and families having fun," he says.
