Last week, Burberry Chief Creative and Chief Executive Officer Christopher Bailey shook the industry when he abandoned the traditional show model, showing a season-less show that combined men's and womenswear, a portion of which was available immediately after the show, as opposed to six months later.

His, newly-coined, February collection would be completely available on a "see-now, buy-now" basis.

Days after Bailey announced his shift in focus in early February, American designer Tom Ford announced he would be following suit.

The concept isn't new. Moschino designer Jeremy Scott has included shoppable capsule collections in his runway shows since 2014. His Autumn-Winter 2016 #ItsLit capsule collection, which was themed around cigarettes, is now on sale.

Two of the new bags shown at Prada's Autumn-Winter 2016 show -- Cahier and the Pionnière -- are now available in stores.

Last season, Anthony Vaccarello's collection for Versus Versace was available at the brand's stores immediately after the show.
