Sage, a Miniature Poodle from Houston, Texas, was named best in show Tuesday at the 148th Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show. "No words, I'm so happy." Sage's breeder and handler Kaz Hosaka said after the win, in what is his last show after 45 Westminster competitions.

The annual dog show, held in New York City, is the second-oldest continuous sporting event in the United States.

More than 2,500 dogs, representing all 50 US states, competed this year.
