It was a few months later than it was supposed to be, but the 75th Primetime Emmy Awards were finally awarded on Monday night.
The show, which honors the best in television, was originally supposed to take place in September. But because of industry strikes, it was delayed for several months.
FX's "The Bear" and HBO's "Succession" took home the most major awards, with six each. "The Bear" won outstanding comedy series and "Succession" won outstanding drama series.
The evening also stood out for its diversity, with a number of Black and Asian winners — the latter thanks to Netflix limited series "Beef." That show received five major awards on Monday, with stars Ali Wong and Steven Yeun both winning.
Quinta Brunson ("Abbott Elementary") became the first Black women recognized as lead comedy actress in more than four decades.
