Major wildfires in California have destroyed a record number of buildings and displaced more than 300,000 people.
In Northern California, residents have been forced to evacuate parts of Butte County after the deadly Camp Fire broke out Thursday, November 8, and burned through the town of Paradise. It's the most destructive wildfire in California history, and the deadliest.
The Woolsey Fire began on the same day in Southern California, and in a matter of hours it grew thousands of acres in Los Angeles and Ventura counties.
The Hill Fire also sprung up in Ventura County, near the bar in Thousand Oaks where 12 people were killed November 7 in a mass shooting.
