Singer Demi Lovato was hospitalized on Tuesday, July 24, after suffering an apparent drug overdose, a source close to the family told CNN.

The 25-year-old, who received her first Grammy nomination last year, has been open about her struggles with substance abuse. She celebrated six years of sobriety in March but talked about a relapse in a new single that was released late last month.
