Zuvaa is an online store selling African-inspired clothing to customers globally. It was founded two years ago by New York-based entrepreneur Kelechi Anyadiegwu.

"I didn't really know what I was getting into, I just had a vision and I was excited about where that would take me," Anyadiegwu told CNN in an interview. After receiving compliments on her African-inspired outfits, she saw the perfect business opportunity.

Social media has played a large role in Zuvaa's success, and Anyadiegwu keeps community at the heart of the business; "I was really diligent on social media from the beginning. Curating and posting beautiful African inspired images to our Instagram page six to 10 times a day."

Anyadiegwu has been very vocal about the fact that she did not want a traditional 9 to 5 job. "My days are a lot longer than 9-5!" says Anyadiegwu. "From when I wake up to when I go to sleep, I'm working on Zuvaa. If I'm not directly working on Zuvaa, I'm definitely thinking about it."

"My vision for Zuvaa is to be more than an African fashion marketplace," says Anyadiegwu. "I want Zuvaa to be synonymous with African inspired prints. So that whenever someone is looking to buy something African Inspired they think of Zuvaa."
