Welcome to a world of multi-sensory pleasure —
The Flavour Conductor is unveiled during a spectacular show at London's Merchant Taylor Hall.

A tour through taste, courtesy of sound —
A composition moving through the 'cardinal notes' of Johnnie Walker Blue Label whisky takes the drinker through different taste experiences within the same glass.

The master's chamber —
Elsewhere at the event, master blender Jim Beveridge introduced guests to the composition of whisky, which he compared to an orchestra.

Where the magic happens —
Food architect Sam Bompas, who conceived and curated the Flavour Conductor with partner Harry Parr, at work in his lab.

Drink into your lungs —
Another Bompas and Barr creation - the breathable whisky cloud.

Masterpiece on your plate —
The Flavour Conductor was created in cooperation with Oxford University's Crossmodal Research Lab, which investigates the impact of other sensory input on taste. Recent research showed restaurant diners respond well to meals presented like artworks.
