
Joy Behar returned to "The View" in September 2015 after leaving in 2013. For a while, Behar pulled double duty on "The View" (where she was one of the original co-hosts) and as host of "The Joy Behar Show" on HLN. The latter was canceled in 2011. Actress Candace Cameron Bure joined Behar for season 19 on "The View" in September. She had appeared as a guest host previously.

"GMA Weekend" anchor Paula Faris joined Behar and Cameron Bure as a new co-host for Season 19.

Michelle Collins became the 15th co-host in the show's history when it was announced in July 2015 that she was the newest member of the panel. She had previously served as a guest co-host.

Raven-Symone was promoted from guest co-host to a full time position in June 2015.

Rosie Perez's time on "The View" was brief. She joined the show in September 2014 and left the following August.

Rosie O'Donnell was part of "The View" twice. She left the show in early 2015 to focus on her family after a split from her wife. O'Donnell previously co-hosted during the show's 10th season in 2006-07 and got into heated debates with former co-host Elisabeth Hasselbeck.

Barbara Walters was the doyenne of the show, having started in 1997 and often serving as a leader of the passionate panel discussions. She retired in May 2014.

Political analyst Nicolle Wallace joined the show last year after the departures of co-hosts Sherri Shepherd, Jenny McCarthy and Barbara Walters.

Star Jones became somewhat infamous on "The View" after she reportedly announced she was leaving the show in 2006 without alerting her co-workers first. In 2012, she returned for an appearance that saw things get heated between her and Walters. Jones continues to appear on television, including in a stint on the reality show "The Celebrity Apprentice."

Debbie Matenopoulos started with the show but never seemed to quite catch on with the audience. In 1999 she was abruptly replaced by Lisa Ling. In April 2014, Matenopoulos announced that she was married and pregnant.

Lisa Ling attended on "The View" from 2009 to 2012. She returned to international reporting and hosted "Our America with Lisa Ling" on the OWN network and "National Geographic Ultimate Explorer." Ling now hosts "This Is Life with Lisa Ling" for CNN.

Elisabeth Hasselbeck was a lightning rod on "The View" because of her conservative beliefs, which often put her at odds with her fellow co-hosts. After a decade on the show, it was announced that she would be leaving to join the talk show "Fox & Friends."

In 2007, Whoopi Goldberg became the show's new moderator. She mixed things up on the panel with her outspoken nature, including a heated debate with conservative pundit Ann Coulter and her defense of ESPN anchor Stephen A. Smith. She has continued to act, including a performance in the 2014 reboot "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles."

Sherri Shepherd joined the cast in 2007 after the departure of Star Jones. She stirred controversy when she said on air that she did not believe in evolution. She said goodbye to "The View" on August 11, 2014.

Jenny McCarthy, we hardly knew ye. The comedic actress joined the show for only one season, announcing in 2014 that she was leaving along with Sherri Shepherd.
