Sutton Clocks is a dusty old shop on the second floor of a small building on the corner of Lexington Ave. and East 61st St. in Manhattan. It has stood watch over the intersection since the 1960's.

As the digital world rushes by his window Laws keeps the analog world moving. Some of the clocks people bring to him are over 200 years old. "There's never really two with exactly the same problem," said Laws.

Laws says the shelves hold clocks that are "getting better." As they progress through various stages of repair they move up toward the top shelf. Ticking clocks fill every available space.
