Running man —
Iran's Reza Baluchi left his homeland at the age of eight and has been running ever since.

Coast to coast —
Baluchi has ran across the United States on two occasions and around its perimeter once. His latest challenge is his biggest yet, to run up Mount Everest.

Marking the map —
Baluchi plans his route with David Hyslop, a former businessman from Los Angeles who gave up his job to help the Iranian and become his agent.

Helping heroes —
Baluchi donated a bicycle to the firefighters of Engine 33 Ladder 9, who suffered tragic losses as a result of the 9/11 terror attacks on the World Trade Center.

Paying his respects —
Baluchi pays his respects at the Murrah Memorial in Oklahoma, a monument dedicated to the bomb attack on the city in April 1995.

Spreading hope —
Baluchi says he runs to help children around the world realize anything is possible.
