Meet the tributes —
"The Hunger Games" hits theaters March 23, which means it's time to become aquainted with each of the districts' tributes: the 24 children chosen to compete in the deadly games. Dressed to the nines, the actors attended the film's Los Angeles premiere on Monday. Josh Hutcherson's Peeta Mellark and Jennifer Lawrence's Katniss Everdeen are the tributes from District 12. Here are some other tributes to look out for.

Jack Quaid —
Marvel, played by Jack Quaid, comes from District 1, the luxury district. His weapon of choice is a spear.

Leven Rambin —
Glimmer, played by Leven Rambin, is also from District 1.

Alexander Ludwig —
Cato, played by Alexander Ludwig, comes from District 2, the masonry district. He's a master swordsman and can wield a machete.

Isabelle Fuhrman —
The District 2 girl tribute is Clove, played by Isabelle Fuhrman. She is a pro at throwing knives.

Jacqueline Emerson —
This tribute, whom Katniss nicknames Foxface, is from District 5, the power district. With her stealthly ways, she can outfox the other tributes.

Dayo Okeniyi —
From District 11, the agriculture district, comes Thresh, played by Dayo Okeniyi. He is one of the strongest tributes and can easily wield large rocks.

Amandla Stenberg —
Twelve-year-old Rue, played by Amandla Stenberg, also comes from District 11. She may be tiny, but she is quite handy with a slingshot.

Liam Hemsworth —
Though Liam Hemsworth's Gale Hawthorne, of District 12, isn't a tribute in the games, Gale is Katniss' closest friend and hunting partner -- an important part of the story.
