The Grammy Awards show, billed as “music’s biggest night,” is taking place in Los Angeles.
Rap superstar Kendrick Lamar has the most nominations this year, with nine. Other major nominees include Bad Bunny, Doechii, Lady Gaga and Sabrina Carpenter. All five are up for record of the year and album of the year.
Lamar won the first Grammy of the telecast, accepting the award for best rap album ("GNX"). He won three Grammys earlier in the night before the show even started. Olivia Dean was another early winner, taking the Grammy for best new artist.
Later in the night, Bad Bunny won best música urbana album (“Debí Tirar Más Fotos”), and Lady Gaga won best pop vocal album (“Mayhem”). Billie Eilish and her brother, Finneas O’Connell, won the Grammy for song of the year (“Wildflower”).
