Rafael Nadal picked up his 200th grand slam win by easing past Argentina's Facundo Bagnis 6-3 6-0 6-3.

So far Nadal isn't lingering on court at Roland Garros. The nine-time champion has dropped a total of nine games in two rounds.

World No. 1 Novak Djokovic also advanced in straight sets over qualifier Steve Darcis 7-5 6-3 6-4, although he disagreed with the chair umpire over a call at one stage.

Djokovic, bidding for a first French Open crown, also became annoyed when Darcis struck winning drop shots.

But Djokovic finished the match with a smile on his face.

Jo-Wilfried Tsonga was in good spirits, too. France's top men's hope at Roland Garros, he rallied to defeat fellow Australian Open finalist Marcos Baghdatis 6-7 (6-8) 3-6 6-3 6-2 6-2.

Women's No. 1 Serena Williams has had no issues through two rounds. On Thursday the 21-time grand slam winner swept past Teliana Pereira 6-2 6-1.

Eugenie Bouchard, a 2014 semifinalist, exited against eighth-seed Timea Bacsinszky 6-4 6-4 in a topsy-turvy affair.

Bacsinszky, a semifinalist last year, came back from 4-1 in the first, winning 10 straight games.
